Who is Jesus

Who Is Jesus?

Colossians 1:13 – 18
“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the first born from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.”

Jesus is our King – “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom
of His beloved Son.”

Jesus is our Redeemer – “in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Jesus is our God – “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.”

Jesus is our Creator – “For by Him all things were created, both in heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have
been created through Him and for Him.”

Jesus is our Sustainer – “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

Jesus is our Leader – “He is also head of the body, the church”

Jesus is our First Priority – “and He is the beginning, the first born from the dead, so that He Himself will
come to have first place in everything.”
